Andreas' career spans the US and International Formulas.  Beginning in Karting in the late nineties, he quickly moved into the German Ford Ford Championship, finishing second his rookie year.  He then spent three years in the Formula BMW series, finishing in the top ten in all eight races in '02, earning six top fives in '03 and podium finishes in 11 of 14 in '04, resulting in his clinching the inaugural Formula BMW North American Championship that year.

Moving up the ladder in 2005 to the Atlantic series, Andreas was running second in the points until an unfortunate accident took him out of the final two races.  Thanks to an extremely strong run in '05, Wirth still managed to close out the season with a sixth place finish overall.

In 2006, Andreas enjoyed his sophomore season in the Champ Car Atlantic Series, securing two victories, six trips to the podium and eight top ten finishes in just twelve events -- taking third place overall in an extremely competitive season.  Having fought hard all year, Wirth was thrilled to be invited to compete in the final two events on the Champ Car World Series calendar at Surfer's Paradise and Mexico City with a best finish of 9th in Australia.

in 2007, he broke the track record at the TTCircuit Assen as part of of a promotion for the Champ Car WOrld Series European debut.

Markus is a dedicated and determined Finnish driver with a strong pedigree of winning races in single seaters and karting, every year since 1990.  In addition to winning several championships in both, he was one of the top karters in the world.  His main achievements include victories in the UK, German, Scandinavian, Belgian, Finnish and Swedish Championship races in both karting and formula categories.

In 2007, a strong group of backers put him into the GP2 series mid-season, finishing 9th in Monza, his team's best finish of the season.
